Money Sense Approved Adviser Status
We are pleased to announce that Conrad Toner received the MoneySense Approved Financial Adviser designation from MoneySense Magazine, one of Canada's best known personal-finance media brands.
The MoneySense Approved Financial Adviser designation is awarded only to financial advisers who exceed MoneySense's high standards in such areas as customer service, transparency and fees.
To earn this designation, Conrad completed a four-step accreditation process that many of his clients were a part of. These steps included:
- A self-completed application questionnaire inquiring into the services offered; fees and compensation structure including any amounts that might be received from third parties, such as investment product issuers; the nature and frequency of reports clients receive; and other areas deemed important by MoneySense.
- A background check of all certifications and record with oversight bodies and industry regulators.
- An online survey in which MoneySense asked current clients (i.e., active within the past two years; minimum response rates applied) about fees, quality of service, etc.
- A telephone interview in which MoneySense asked follow-up questions based on the first three steps of the application process.
